One of FIFA's best game modes, FIFA Pro Clubs mode, has become especially popular over the last while. This mode can be great for players who want to get away from the stress of the weekend league or who are tired of grinding for skill alone in Career Mode. That said, Pro Clubs mode looks set to make waves in FIFA 23 as well. What is FIFA 23 Pro Clubs mode? What will it be like? Will it have Cross-Play (cross-platform) support?
What Is FIFA 23 Pro Clubs Mode?
Pro Clubs is known in FIFA 22 as an 11-vs-11 online game mode, playable as a team with up to ten friends. However, everyone can only control their own player, the Pro. If you can't convince enough people to form a team, one of the group members can control all the remaining players, or hand that job over to the AI. You can create your own stadium, club, and kits. By playing Pro Clubs, you can also level up your starting rank alongside leveling up your own player. At every new level, you get perks like skill points to boost your player's attributes.
Will FIFA 23 Pro Clubs Have Cross-Play (Cross-Platform) Support?
Pro Clubs in FIFA 23 will have cross-play functionality. With this feature, players will be able to compete not only against players on the same console, but also against PlayStation and Xbox users. Cross-platform play is currently being tested in two FIFA 22 game modes. For Pro Clubs, this feature will have the advantage of significantly reducing matchmaking wait times. However, cross-platform support for Pro Clubs in FIFA 23 will only apply to next-gen consoles and PC. Unfortunately, players still on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One won't be able to take advantage of this feature.
