Thinking about deleting your League of Legends account but not really sure how to go about it? Here's a guide for you. If you're finally tired of players tilting after the enemy's first blood or seeing Yuumi's face in every game, here are some simple steps you can follow to permanently delete your LoL account.
Riot offers two options for players who are tired of playing League of Legends. One option is to deactivate your account. If you deactivate your account, Riot continues to have access to all your user data, but you won't be able to play the game while it's deactivated. However, you can reactivate your account whenever you're ready to play again.
The other option is to delete your account. Once your account is deleted, you can't undo it. Additionally, all data tied to the account will be erased. This means you need to be one hundred percent sure you want to delete your account before doing so. A good option here is to deactivate your account for a while, and if you're happy with your choice, you can choose to delete it later.

How Can You Delete Your LoL Account?
Before deleting your account, there are some things you may want to know. First of all, if you delete your LoL account, you also have to delete all other games tied to that Riot account, such as VALORANT, Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra. So technically, you can't delete just your LoL account. What you're actually deleting is your Riot account.
Anything you've purchased will not be refunded. This means that if you delete your account, all skins, chromas, etc. are completely gone, and you won't get your money back.
Another important thing you need to know before permanently deleting your account is that once the deletion process ends, all your data is deleted and you'll no longer be able to access your account.
If you're still sure you want to delete your account, you can keep reading. Here are four simple steps to delete your Riot account.
- Click here to go to the Riot Support Page for account deletion
- Press the "LOG IN" button and log in to the account you want to delete.
- Riot will ask whether you are the original creator of this account. If your answer is yes, select "YES".
- After step 3, Riot will bring up the games tied to this account, your account name and your Riot ID. If everything looks the way it should, click "CONFIRM DELETION INITIATION".
- After following all these steps, the deletion process will begin and you'll receive an email with all the details. The deletion process takes 30 days to complete. If the link doesn't work for any reason, Riot offers another option through submitting a ticket. To delete your account by submitting a ticket, click here and follow these steps:
- Select the "Account Management, Data Request, or Deletion" request type
- Write "Account Deletion" as the subject
- In the description, fill in the following information:
- Account Name (what you log in with on Riot Games)
- Summoner Name (your in-game LoL name)
- The account's creation date
- The location where you registered the account (City, Country)
- The email address originally used to register your account
- In the "REGION" field, select the region tied to your account
- For Query Selection, select "Account Deletion"
Can I Undo My Account Deletion?
If the 30-day deletion process has finished, you can't undo the account deletion. This is because Riot deletes all information tied to the deleted account, so once it's gone, there's no way to bring it back.
If you regret your decision during this 30-day deletion process and want to get your account back, you need to act quickly. When you started the deletion process, you received an email confirming the deletion. This email also contains a link you can click if you regret your choice within 30 days.
If you manage to request that the deletion be undone at most five days before the process is completed, you can get your account back, but this is not guaranteed. The sooner you undo the account deletion, the higher the chance the deletion will be canceled. Once there are only five days left before the deletion finishes, you can no longer get your account back.
