How to Use the Star Guardian Effect on Instagram

This year's Star Guardian event, introduced as the first League of Legends event of Season 12, has turned out to be a lot of fun. The Star Guardian event includes numerous skins, in-game missions to complete, and an engaging story. The event has now also made its way to Instagram. LoL's official account added an effect to the story effects section as part of the Star Guardian event. This effect includes cards you can collect. So how do you use the Star Guardian (Yıldız Muhafızı) effect on Instagram? How do you collect Star Guardian cards and packs?

How Do You Use the Star Guardian Effect on Instagram?

• First, open your Instagram account.
• Then tap the plus icon at the top of the app and select the story option.
• Once you're in stories, you'll see effects at the bottom along with a "browse effects" option — tap that.
• Type "star guardian cards" into the effects search bar.
• You'll see an effect created by League of Legends.

How Do You Collect Star Guardian Cards on Instagram?

To collect the cards and open your card pack, press and hold the pink Star Guardian logo, which is the story recording button. As you hold the button, five cards open up and come out of the pack. Once all the cards have appeared, the screen shows all the cards you've collected. You can also view the cards you've collected for the effect by tapping to the right of the two icons above the recording button. Even if you don't get the card you wanted on your first try, you'll earn more packs to open over time.
