LoL Patch 12.18 PBE Patch Notes: Skins and Changes (September 2022)

LoL Patch 12.18, a candidate to be the best League of Legends patch in recent times, will include some pretty cool new spooky skins in one of the best-looking patches of the year. But what else can we see on the PBE for LoL Patch 12.18 right now? Which champions will be completely and utterly OP in the upcoming League meta? Let's take a look at them together.

LoL Patch 12.18 will be the main patch of the year, and we will be watching the entire LoL World Championship on this single patch. Most of the big changes were already implemented in LoL Patch 12.17, so expect small changes to hit the PBE in the coming days.

The PBE has just gone live, so there are not yet many changes on the public beta server for fans to test. Still, when changes land on the PBE server, we will update this section as soon as possible so you know which changes may have an impact on solo queue and which may be more skewed.

Mythic Shop Rotation

It has been three months since Ashen Knight Pantheon was added to the Mythic Shop, and now it is time for this seasonal legend to leave and make room for a new Mythic skin. Ashen Slayer Sylas turned out to be the next Ashen Knight skin. Many fans are not happy with this skin, but that is a story for another article.

New Worlds Skin Revealed

Since Patch 12.18 is the LoL World Championship patch, we will also get a skin to celebrate the biggest event in League of Legends esports. This will be Riot's tenth Championship/Worlds skin, since the trend began in 2012.

• Worlds Azir

Azir is a great choice because he is a champion who stands out in the pro meta, and a champion for whom the late game shines more than ever. Honestly, he is simply an iconic Worlds champion.

Fright Night Skins Added to PBE Patch 12.18

Riot is also refreshing the gothic skin line and giving it a whole new look. Although the first two skins on the PBE are not that popular, they hit the mark. The skins look great, the champion selection is great, and the theme is fresh and fun.

All the champions receiving Fright Night skins are:

• Fright Night Renata Glasc
• Fright Night Cart
• Fright Night Draven
• Fright Night Urgot
• Fright Night Nautilus

These skins are great and work wonders as we head into October. The art is great and looks incredible on these champions, even on some older models. Overall, this is a great skin line that Riot is adding to the mix.
