Are New Spirit Blossom Skins Coming to League of Legends?

League of Legends Spirit Blossom skins are one of the most beloved skin lines, and are likely to make a comeback for PC in 2022. Some of the skins are also said to eventually show up in Wild Rift. So let's take a look at the latest League of Legends skin leaks.

Spirit Blossom skins were hugely successful when they first launched in 2020. The skin line isn't just known for its beautiful aesthetic and lore, it also delivers a thematic consistency for each of its champions. Luckily for us, we can now expect even more Spirit Blossom skins to release in 2022. Now let's take a look at what we know so far.

When Can We Expect Spirit Blossom Skins to Release?

Having big releases for the League of Legends World Championship is something Riot typically does. In 2020 we got the K/DA comeback, and for the 2021 World Championship, Riot released the hugely successful Netflix series Arcane. The new Spirit Blossom skin is likely going to be the biggest thing Riot has decided to do for the League of Legends World Championship 2022.

All of this information comes from the well-known leaker BigBadBear on YouTube. In the YouTube video, they state that the skins will likely release in League of Legends 12.19. Since League of Legends World Championship patches usually land on Patch .18 or .19, this possibility looks quite strong.

Which Champions Will Get a Spirit Blossom Skin?

Not all Spirit Blossom skins have been released yet; a few have been leaked. At first it was suspected that Nami could get a skin, but this could have instead been a skin for Wild Rift — though we still wouldn't mind a Nami Spirit Blossom skin, would we?

BigBadBear is confident that the skin release will include a new dual-variant Legendary skin similar to what we already have in the game with Dawnbringer and Nightbringer Soraka or Solar and Lunar Eclipse Leona.
