What's in the FC 27 Ultimate Edition?
According to EA's official editions page, Ultimate includes:
- 6,000 FC Points, paid in three equal monthly instalments; the first arrives when you first log into Ultimate Team.
- Season 1 Premium Pass.
- One extra Player Evolution slot.
- Career Mode content: a Dynamic OVR pre-season boost, three ICONs/Heroes, a 5-star Coach, a 5-star Youth Scout, a 5-star Senior Scout and five extra Manager Live challenge creation slots.
- The Grounds content: the Signature Sweatsuit, a Mbappé-inspired Tier 3 AMP and two Double AXP consumables for 10 matches.

Pre-order extras, such as FC 26 rewards (a 93+ ICON pick and a 99 DRI Evolution) and the 85+ International ICON for orders before August 31, ended with the pre-order window.
What's in the FC 27 Standard Edition?
Standard includes the full game: Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Clubs, The Grounds and every other mode. There are no FC Points, no Premium Pass and no extra Evolution slot. Pre-orders until September 24 received bonuses such as three ICONs/Heroes and a 5-star Coach and Scout; that window has closed.

Is the FC 27 Ultimate Edition worth it?
It depends on whether you play Ultimate Team. On Steam, the 12,000 FC Points pack costs $99.99, so 6,000 points are worth roughly $50 at that rate, more than the $30 gap between the editions, before counting the extra Evolution slot and Premium Pass. If you don't play Ultimate Team, Ultimate only adds a few Career and The Grounds items, and Standard is enough.
One more thing: EA gives a 500 FC Points loyalty reward to owners of FC 24, FC 25 or FC 26 who buy Standard or Ultimate. The offer ends on November 13, 2026 and is not available on the Epic Games Store. If you are undecided, the free FC 27 Lite lets you try selected modes such as Kick-Off and upgrade at any time.
