If you get no FC 27 transfer offers in Player Career, the game is usually working as designed: offers are driven by your Agent and a Target Team's objectives, and clubs only decide at the end of the season once the mandatory objectives are met.

FC 27 transfer offers not coming: the short answer

Player Career moves still run through the Player Agent system that EA introduced in EA SPORTS FC 24. You pick a Target Team, that club hands you a list of objectives, and your progress is reviewed at the end of the season. Miss the mandatory objectives and the club walks away. EA did not announce any new Player Career transfer mechanic for FC 27; this year's Player Career addition is Rivalries. So the route to an offer in FC 27 is still objectives first, end of season second.

A quick checklist:

  • Do you have a Target Team set? Only one can be active at a time.
  • Are you completing that club's mandatory objectives?
  • Have you reached the end of the season? That is when the review happens.
  • Is your Player Rating low? If so, your current club may loan you out or transfer-list you.

How the Player Career transfer system works

The Agent system, introduced in FC 24, handles transfers and contracts for you. Your Agent comments on your highs and lows, recommends clubs based on your performance and career goals, and shows each club's Tactical Vision so you can judge the fit.

  1. Choose a Target Team. Take one of your Agent's recommendations or name your dream club.
  2. Track the objectives. The club sets mandatory and optional objectives. They depend on the club's tactical style, your position, league prestige, the club's star rating and its finances.
  3. Get to the end of the season. Your progress is reviewed then. If the mandatory objectives are done, the club is ready to talk.
  4. Weigh up the offer. Each club offers a wage range, and optional objectives push that number up.

Aim too high and your Agent may steer you to a stepping-stone club first. Clubs can say no when their budget is tight, when they do not need your position or when your style does not fit. The same club can change its mind in a later season.

Why you are not getting offers: causes and fixes

Transfer demands screen in FC 27 Career Mode
Cause What you see What to do
No Target Team set The season ends and nobody calls Pick a Target Team through your Agent
Mandatory objectives missed Your Target Team loses interest at season's end Prioritise mandatory objectives over optional ones
Target is too ambitious Your Agent suggests a stepping-stone club Move to a mid-level club first and grow your rating
Club lacks budget or need The Target Team turns you down Target a club that needs your position and can pay you
Style mismatch The club stays lukewarm despite your numbers Choose a club whose Tactical Vision suits your player
Waiting for January No permanent offer in the winter window Plan your move for the end of the season

When do transfer offers arrive in FC 27?

Because the Agent system works on a season-long set of objectives, the real action happens at the end of the season. Objectives have to be locked in before the season ends, and you cannot change your wage expectations after that point. In an FC 27 feature-request thread on the EA Forums, players say permanent moves are effectively limited to the summer window because of the Agent and yearly objective structure, and they ask for January moves to return. That is player feedback, not an official EA statement, but it explains why a mid-season wait often goes nowhere.

How to improve your chances of an offer

Form, morale and contract details on an FC 27 player profile
  • Pick a realistic club. Teams that need your position and can afford you are easier to convince.
  • Clear mandatory objectives early. Leaving them to the final weeks is a gamble.
  • Keep your Player Rating high. EA Help says Training Drills and Match Objectives raise it.
  • Take Rivalries seriously. Winning or drawing a Rivalry in FC 27 earns Personality Points that feed your player's development.
  • Treat optional objectives as a bonus. They affect the wage on the table, not whether the offer exists.
  • Consider free agency. Running down your contract and moving as a free agent can boost your weekly income on a planned move.

Getting loaned out or transfer-listed

The opposite problem can also happen: your club may want you gone. According to EA Help's Career Mode guide, building your Player Rating through Training Drills and Match Objectives stops you from being sent out on loan or put up for transfer. Under the system introduced in FC 24, failing your current club's mandatory objectives by the end of the season could lead to a loan option. Accept it and you play elsewhere before returning; decline it and you have to find a new club and sign a contract yourself.

What changed in FC 27 and what did not

The big transfer changes in EA's FC 27 Career Mode Deep Dive are for Manager Career: staged negotiations, installments, buyback and sell-on clauses. The headline Player Career addition is Rivalries. The game picks an AI rival who plays the same or a similar role, based on your on-pitch behaviour and achievements in your league, then sets performance-based objectives against them. EA's Title Update 1.0.4 notes from 7 October 2026 also contain no Player Career transfer fix. If offers are missing, the objective system is the first place to look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I not getting transfer offers in FC 27 Player Career?

The most common reason is that the Target Team's mandatory objectives were not completed by the end of the season. Not having a Target Team, or picking a club with no budget or no need for your position, also blocks offers.

Can I get a transfer offer in the January window in FC 27?

The Agent system reviews you at the end of the season. Players on the EA Forums report that permanent moves are limited to the summer window; EA has not commented officially.

Should I lower my rating to get offers?

No. Older FIFA games had PC workarounds with third-party tools, but in the Agent system the Target Team's objectives decide things. A high Player Rating also protects you from being loaned out.

What happens if I turn down a loan?

Under the system introduced in FC 24, declining a loan meant finding a new club and signing a contract yourself. EA has not announced a change to this for FC 27.
