How Do You Play Nilah in League of Legends?
Passive - Joy Unending: When Nilah kills a minion, she and her nearest ally gain XP that they cannot share. Nilah gains 10% increased healing and a 20% bonus shield. The effect also works on allies who heal or shield her. If an ally heals or shields themselves, she gains the same amount.
Q - Formless Blade: Nilah damages every enemy struck by her whip. Using Q while in E sends a wave to the end position. If it hits a target, her Q is empowered, granting extra attack speed and extra range. As a passive, Nilah gains an armor item, and her basic attacks and Q heal her for the damage they deal. Excess healing becomes a shield.
W - Jubilant Veil: Nilah becomes a ghost, dodging basic attacks and reducing the magic damage she takes. While it is active, touching allies pulls them into the mist and they gain the same effects.
E - Slipstream: Nilah dashes a set distance through a unit, damaging it. This ability is an auto-attack reset. She can use Q and R while using this ability. As a passive, Nilah stocks up to a maximum of 2 charges.
R - Apotheosis: Nilah spins her whip, damaging all nearby enemies. She pulls them toward her and slows them. She also heals herself and nearby allies. Excess healing is converted into a shield.
Nilah's abilities mean she will be dashing around enemies in close contact to deal damage. Players will probably try to hit enemies with her Q, press E to dash onto them, and then press W for untouchability before following up with another Q.
Thanks to all of her bonus protection and healing, Nilah will be a tough opponent when paired with a bot lane duo that both works well and heals. That makes champions like Senna, Nami and Janna great support picks for her.
