League of Legends players often complain about bugs that can occur in the game. After a bit of research into buggy LoL champions, we found a few champions that Riot still hasn't fixed. We decided to share these champions' buggy abilities with you. While these buggy champion abilities won't put you way ahead in the game, there's a chance they could give you an edge.

The addition of two new Drakes to League of Legends brought two new maps, Drake Souls, and interactions. While one of the two has now been removed, both have had an impact on the bugs we can find in League of Legends Season 12.

We're witnessing a new era in League of Legends mechanics. In the past, Riot Games removed unnecessary things like the fleeing status, but now they seem intent on adding as many new ones as possible. The issue is that while Lulu's Pix and Bard's Meeps aren't to be underestimated, Renata Glasc's W ability, with Bailout being the latest iteration, stems from all these overly powerful champion mechanics interacting with each other in very unpredictable ways.

We've also tried to give you a guide on how to report the bugs you find to Riot. Details are in our article. Here are the buggy champions' abilities.

3. Lulu

Lulu, the Fae Sorceress in League of Legends

Lulu's constant fairy companion Pix is a cornerstone of this League of Legends mage support. The Hextech Drake found in Season 12, or more specifically its portals, makes this champion even stronger. After using a Hexgate, every champion becomes untargetable for a while, and becomes targetable again once they exit the portal. What Riot didn't account for was familiars like Pix, who can be targeted by enemy skillshots after exiting a Hexgate, thereby blocking them for anyone in their path.

2. Bard

Where Lulu has had a familiar since the very start of the game, Bard collects them as the game goes on. These are called Meeps, and they increase Bard's auto-attack damage.

Still, just like Lulu's Pix, they become targetable when entering and exiting a Hexgate. Since Bard has far more Meeps around him than Lulu has a single Pix, hooking Bard becomes nearly impossible.

1. Renata Glasc

Renata Glasc in League of Legends

When Renata Glasc was released, contrary to what the whole player base expected, she proved to be a relatively balanced champion. Still, her W ability shares the same issue Chemtech Drake once had. If her W's burn is applied to a champion who is untargetable or immune to damage, that champion won't die.

The same thing happens when the only damage taken is from things like turrets or neutral monsters. The bug is of course not consistent and doesn't always seem to apply, so maybe there are specific requirements we're missing. In any case, a new mechanic like this was expected to create bugs, so it may take Riot some time to fix things.

As an additional note, Renata's W ability works great against champions with reset mechanics like the following:

  • Pyke
  • Darius
  • Vex

Since these champions' ultimates rely on finishing off enemy champions to reset, Renata's W also behaves the way Guardian Angel does. Even if enemy champions die from the burn, these champions' Ultimates won't reset.
