The short answer for the OSM scout list in 26/27: the highest-rated players aged 21 or under are Robin Risser (80) in goal, Pau Cubarsí (85) at centre-back, Warren Zaïre-Emery (85) in central midfield, Arda Güler (86) as a number 10 and Lamine Yamal (90) on the wing.
We pulled these lists from OSM Helper's player database on 25 October 2026. They show base OSM ratings, without any in-form boost. Because the scout only searches leagues other than yours, each position includes options from several leagues.
How the scout works in OSM
According to OSM's official help page, the scout brings back a maximum of three players based on your criteria. If nobody matches exactly, he looks for the closest values. The official help also says the scout is meant for players from leagues other than your own; for players in your own league, use the transfer list.
OSM Helper's guide lists a few more rules:
- The scout normally returns within 16 hours.
- You can sign every player he brings, or none of them.
- Each player costs his value plus 15 Boss Coins. For players rated above 100, the Boss Coin cost goes up.
- Buying through the scout is usually cheaper than the transfer list price.
If you are after a specific player, keep your criteria as narrow as possible. Set the position, age range and strength values to match the player in the table; if several players fit the same range, the scout may bring any of them.

Goalkeepers have an attack rating of zero, so the defence rating is the only number that matters. Risser and Penders are both 21 and sit at 79–80.

Things to keep in mind
- Your own league is excluded: The scout will not bring players from clubs in your league, so filter the list by the league you manage in.
- Competition: The official help page notes that talented players are rare and that other managers are hunting for the same names.
- In-form boosts are temporary: The tables use base ratings. In-form players can show a higher rating for a while.
- Values move: A player who improves through training will see his rating and value rise during the season.
