MOUZ IEM Beijing 2026 glory is confirmed: MOUZ swept The MongolZ 3-0 in the grand final. Wins on Mirage, Dust2 and Inferno meant MOUZ lifted the trophy without dropping a single map at the event.

MOUZ arrived in the best-of-five final with a perfect 8-0 map record, and the clean sweep took them to 11-0 for the tournament. HLTV's live blog signed off with a simple headline: "MOUZ lift the trophy in Beijing".

How did the MOUZ IEM Beijing final win unfold?

According to HLTV's live updates, The MongolZ started brightly on Mirage, but after MOUZ won a pistol round they were firmly in the driving seat. MOUZ closed the map 13-5 with a 10-1 run. "The first few rounds aside, that looked like business as usual for MOUZ," HLTV wrote.

Dust2 was closer early on. 910 kept The MongolZ in it with two openers through smoke, and a quadruple AWP setup down Mid helped them level the half. MOUZ then put together a flawless T side, ending the map 13-6 with a B rush led by torzsi on the P90.

What happened on Inferno?

Spinx delayed The MongolZ to secure the Inferno pistol. xelex then downed four to win a 2v5 anti-eco, and xertioN hit a triple entry on A. MOUZ reached double digits with a 4v3 retake of B, and a PR double gave them eight match points before they closed out the series.

  • Champions: MOUZ (torzsi, Spinx, xertioN, PR, xelex; coach sycrone)
  • Runners-up: The MongolZ (bLitz, Techno, 910, cobrazera, nin9; coach maaRaa)
  • Third place: NAVI, after beating BETBOOM
  • Prize money: $360,000 for first, $210,000 for second
  • Total prize pool: $1.25 million

Why does this title stand out?

During the final, the HLTV Brain published a list showing that a team winning an HLTV-classified Big Event without losing a map had happened 16 times across CS:GO and CS2. MOUZ have now joined that exclusive company. Before the final, HLTV noted that all five MOUZ players were rated above 1.15 at the event, and after the first two maps of the series xertioN led the way with a 1.54 rating.

It was still a strong run for The MongolZ. HLTV pointed out this was their first big grand final since FISSURE Playground 2, after a 2-0 semifinal win over NAVI. NAVI went on to claim third place over BETBOOM.

What is next for MOUZ?

MOUZ sat fourth in HLTV's world ranking dated November 2, behind FURIA, Vitality and Spirit, so a flawless title in Beijing gives them a strong case ahead of the next update. The next big stop is the PGL Major Singapore, with HLTV's event calendar showing Stage 1 starting in roughly 17 days.

There was a nice subplot too. Before the final, xelex told HLTV he was not performing at the highest level on stage and was working on it, then produced a four-kill anti-eco round on Inferno. HLTV readers had backed MOUZ as well, with 53% voting for them before the series. Liquipedia lists $160,000 for third-placed NAVI.
