FIFA 22's Best Teams Ranked: Bayern, PSG, City & More

On FIFA 22's list of the best teams, FC Bayern edges out Paris Saint-Germain for the top spot by a very small margin. PSG added star players to their squad all summer. In particular, Lionel Messi's arrival pushed the team to a huge boost. Still, Manchester City stand out as one of the strongest teams in the Premier League. So besides Manchester City, which teams lead FIFA 22's best teams list?

Bayern Munich/258

• Attack: 92
• Midfield: 85
• Defense: 81

If Robert Lewandowski (92) is on your team, your attack will be lethal. A supporting cast of Thomas Muller (87), Leroy Sane (84), Serge Gnabry (85), and Kingsley Coman (86) waiting on the bench for extra firepower gives the Bavarians a deadly attacking threat. Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich's double pivot in a 4-2-3-1 forms the spine of the team. Alphonso Davies is also one of the fastest players in FIFA 22, so you'll have your work cut out getting past him.

Paris Saint Germain/257

• Attack: 89
• Midfield: 83
• Defense: 85

Sergio Ramos (88) and Marquinhos (87) form an extremely important pairing for the team. Hakimi's (85) addition at right-back reshapes PSG's defensive look, while Mauro Icardi, Angel Di Maria and Presnel Kimpembe waiting out wide means there's no shortage of depth.

Manchester City/256

• Attack: 85
• Midfield: 85
• Defense: 86

Pep Guardiola's side is one of the most versatile teams in the game. They also have key midfielders like Kevin De Bruyne (91). In defense, three top-tier players hold down their positions: Ruben Dias (87), right-back Joao Cancelo (86), and goalkeeper Ederson (89). New signing Jack Grealish (84) provides attacking support out wide. Manchester City's weak spot is the center-forward position — Aguero (87) hasn't been able to fully take over from Ferran Torres, who's left holding down the striker role.

Liverpool/254

• Attack: 86
• Midfield: 83
• Defense: 85

Sadio Mane (89) and Mohamed Salah (89) flank Roberto Firmino (85) in the 4-3-3 false-9 setup. Diogo Jota (82) gives Liverpool an alternative attacking option.

Manchester United/252

• Attack: 85
• Midfield: 84
• Defense: 83

Paul Pogba (87) and Bruno Fernandes (88) can strike from range against opposing keepers. Pogba has 90 shot power and 84 long shots. Fernandes matches both at 89. And don't forget Marcus Rashford, who boasts 92 shot power, 86 acceleration and 93 sprint speed.

Real Madrid/252

• Attack: 84
• Midfield: 85
• Defense: 83

The midfield trio of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro is hugely important. Up top, Karim Benzema (87) leads the attack, flanked by Gareth Bale (82) and Eden Hazard (85).

Chelsea/251

• Attack: 84
• Midfield: 86
• Defense: 81

The returning Romelu Lukaku brings a key blend of pace (87) and power (95). Reece James (81) and Marcos Alonso (79) may be weaker defensively, but they more than make up for it going forward.

Atletico Madrid/250

• Attack: 84
• Midfield: 83
• Defense: 83

La Liga champions' stars Marcos Llorente and Yannick Carrasco play a big role. Jan Oblak is known as one of the toughest keepers to beat. Joao Felix can add a shot of pace to Atletico's side whenever needed.

Piemonte Calcio (Juventus)/248

• Attack: 82
• Midfield: 82
• Defense: 84

Leonardo Bonucci (85), Matthijs de Ligt (85), Danilo (81) and Alex Sandro (83) form a solid backline that's the backbone of the Old Lady. Manuel Locatelli and Adrian Rabiot sit in central midfield in a 4-4-1-1 and are quick into attacking areas. Juan Cuadrado is a pacey outlet on the opposite flank.

Barcelona/249

• Attack: 85
• Midfield: 84
• Defense: 80

Sergio Agüero (87), Memphis Depay (85) and Ousmane Dembele (83) are key contributors. Pedri, meanwhile, is one of the team's rising stars and could reach 90 overall by season's end.
