Having young players in FIFA 22 Career Mode is just as important as having star players. But knowing which of these young talents are actually worth picking up is the hard part. Here are the best highest-potential wonderkids we have picked out for FIFA 22 Career Mode.

FIFA Ultimate Team is all the rage these days. Still, Career Mode has always been the heart and soul of every FIFA game. FIFA 22 doesn't change much on that front. Nothing beats the feeling of taking a struggling club from the bottom to the top, or pushing an already successful club even further.

But like everything else in the football world, the best way to do that — and one of the most important things you can do — is develop young talent and turn a group of promising kids into your next generation of superstars.

The trouble is there are so many young players out there that it's hard to know which ones are worth your time. So to make things easier for you, we have put together a list of the best ones you can pick up in FIFA 22 Career Mode. We have included a wide range of positions and prices in the list too.

When you're scouting young talent to build your squad, the most important thing to remember is figuring out what's missing and which gaps need filling. If you're stacked up top, you'll be shaky at the back, and vice versa. Balance across every area of the pitch is the key to consistency and success.

FIFA 22 Career Mode's Highest-Potential Young Goalkeepers and Defenders

If your team scores, you can win. But if no one scores against you, you'll never lose. That saying holds pretty true in FIFA 22. That's why building a strong defensive line is a must, and it's a great place to start building your squad.

As a general rule, you want to fill the center-back spots with tall, strong players. (Pace helps too — if they're not fast, they at least shouldn't be too slow.)

The same can't really be said for full-backs, though. There are a lot of attributes to weigh for them, like pace, ball-carrying ability, and crossing.

Of course, goalkeepers are the foundation of any squad, and having a great keeper matters for any team. Luckily, we have put together a list of the best young prospects available at all of these positions. Let's take a look at who they are and what their stats look like.

FIFA 22 Career Mode's Highest-Potential Wingers and Forwards

Picking wingers and forwards is usually the most exciting part of building a squad in Career Mode. People love running past defenders with fast wingers, and a solid finisher acts like the oxygen mask of the attack.

But picking players with the right skill set matters. For example, wingers generally need to be fast, have good dribbling, and cross the ball well. Forwards, on the other hand, need to be agile, strong and clinical in front of goal.

Luckily, depending on your budget, we have added plenty of young forwards and wingers ranging in price from £1.3 million to £82 million.
