One of the most annoying FIFA 22 Career Mode issues is the jersey number not showing up. This bug has been around in Career Mode since FIFA 20 and it's still happening. Whether you're in Player Career or Manager Career, the jersey number for the transfers you make doesn't show. So how do you fix it? Here's the fix for the FIFA 22 jersey number not showing issue!
FIFA 22 Player Career Jersey Number Not Showing: The Fix
- Check the Calendar to see when your player will next be called up to the national team
- Right before the call-up date, drop all your skill points to 0 (so you don't get called up — if you do get called up, you'll have to start back from 0)
- If you don't get called up, skip ahead from the calendar to any free date (if you had been called up, it would be better to skip ahead to the date of the national team match)
- Go to your player, set your jersey number to the number you want, add all your skill points back, and save the game
Your issue should now be fixed.
FIFA 22 Manager Career Jersey Number Not Showing: The Fix
Unfortunately there's no clean fix for this one, but there are a few tricks that can help. First off, click this link and you can see for yourself that this is a worldwide issue EA Sports still hasn't fixed. Academy players born in 2004 or later don't get jersey numbers. Their jersey numbers keep failing to show. Plenty of people have emailed EA Sports about it, but since EA's priority is FUT, they still haven't fixed it. So you can also head to the forum and post about the issue yourself to help push for a fix.
