Fixing the FIFA 22 PS4 Not Finding Opponents Problem

If you are a PlayStation player, the FIFA 22 not finding opponents problem may be caused by your internet connection rather than the console. Here is what you can do, in order:

1. Call your internet provider's customer service.
2. Tell them you want them to open ports
3. Have them open one port each for both TCP: 1935, 3478-3480, 3659, 10000-10099, 42127 and UDP: 3074, 3478-3479, 3659, 6000.
4. Restart your modem.
5. You should be finding opponents. If you still cannot find any, make sure your NAT type is not Type 3. If you are Type 3, ask your internet provider to move you to Type 2.

How Do You Fix FIFA 22 Xbox Not Finding Opponents?

If you are an Xbox player, you should know that many Xbox Series S/X users are experiencing the same problem as you. This is somewhat related to next-gen. But of course there are a few things we can do to fix it. Here is what you can do about the Xbox FIFA 22 not finding opponents problem:

1. Go to the Customise tab.
2. Open the Matchmaking Settings section.
3. Change Approximate location matchmaking from yes to no.

That way, the game will also search for players farther from your IP address. If you set this option to no, you can get into a match quickly with a slightly worse connection.

Note: If you are also a Seasons player, make sure the Club Quality Matching option in your matchmaking settings is set to Limited Expand. If it stays on Restrictive, it will find opponents for you with more difficulty.
