How do the Crew tiers work?
There are four tiers. Your time subscribed sets your tier. You cannot pay to skip ahead. The longer your unbroken subscription, the more V-Bucks you get.

If you already subscribe, your tier is set automatically. Epic looks at your consecutive months over the past 12. Its example: subscribe on June 15 and stay subscribed, and by December 15 you reach seven months. You start in Silver.
Lapsed members get a path back. Resubscribe between December 6 and 31, 2026 (11:59 PM ET) and your starting tier reflects your most recent continuous subscription over the past 12 months.
What happens to Crew Packs, the OG Pass and Legacy Styles?
Crew Pack outfits are ending. The last pack is December's. Subscribers get it throughout December. For packs you own, all Legacy Styles for outfits, pickaxes and back blings will be granted in December. It does not matter whether you are subscribed.
The OG Pass ends on December 5 with a dramatic finale to Chapter 1: OG Season X. The next era of Fortnite OG arrives in late 2027. It is unclear whether the OG Pass will return. Destructoid notes the same.
The November 2026 Crew Pack includes the Monarcha Outfit, the Monarcha Chakram Pickaxe and the Chitinous Cape Back Bling. The Crew page labels the Crew Pack and OG Pass as discontinued after December 4.
If you already subscribe, you do not need to do anything. Epic says your subscription continues on December 5. The new Crew tab appears in-game that day.
What is the pass lineup and how does the XP boost work?
Epic also shared the pass lineup through year-end. A Music Mini-Pass arrives on November 12. A LEGO Mini-Pass and the new Fortnite Battle Pass arrive on December 5. Later Music and LEGO passes return to regular size and come out more often.
The XP boost is new. Crew members earn 20% more Fortnite XP. Party members without Crew earn a 10% boost while playing with you. Boosts do not stack with each other. A non-Crew player gets one 10% boost, no matter how many Crew members are in the party.
The Crew page says Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members receive all current Crew benefits. Epic's announcement does not say how the new model affects that link.
What does this mean for players?
Long-term subscribers come out ahead. Gold's 1,600 V-Bucks is double today's 800. Dot Esports highlights this. But collectors lose something. A new exclusive outfit will no longer arrive every month.
If you are thinking of joining, you start at 1,000 V-Bucks. You must wait a year to reach 1,600. Think about how you play first. If you use the Battle Pass, LEGO Pass and Music Pass, the bundle still looks strong.
