League of Legends MMO: Release Date, Features, Classes

Riot Games has decided to take the League of Legends franchise into a new setting with a massively multiplayer online role-playing game currently in development, set in the Runeterra universe. The expansion of Runeterra will not slow down, but developers are currently working on a new MMO project that could compete with well-established heavyweights like World of Warcraft, Lost Ark, and Final Fantasy. Since the game is still early in development, only a handful of details have come to light so far.

When will the League of Legends MMO release? What features will League MMO have? Are the classes known?

When Will the League of Legends MMO Release?

Riot Games has not yet announced a firm release date for the game. However, we can expect it to launch in late 2023 or early 2024.

What Features Will the League of Legends MMO Have?

The League MMO is thought to focus on Demacia, the Runeterra regions, and the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun, the gritty settings of Arcane. Some fantastical regions like Bandle City, Shurima, and the Shadow Isles are also known to potentially serve as adventure zones. Looking at the regions of Runeterra:
