How Many League of Legends Events Are Planned for 2022?

League of Legends recently overhauled its event system. Even though the Debonair event didn't quite hit the mark, Riot is working to make events more fun and less grindy. So, we're wondering, what events could happen in 2022?

There are plenty of skin lines released every year, with some events bigger than others. So let's take a look at the potential skin events that could hit the League of Legends client in 2022.

Events Planned for 2022

Void Event

As we've mentioned before, we think there will be a big event centered around the Void this year. This won't just be an event full of skins — it will also be a big event that ties into League of Legends lore.

The event team learned from their mistakes with the 2021 Sentinels event, and hopefully they'll use that to hype up this Void event as much as possible. Because a new monster champion is already exciting, but an event surrounding them? Even better.

Arcana Event

We got a brand-new skin line in 2021. The Arcana skins were among the most popular reveals of 2021, and we think Riot will make more skins in this line. There have even been leaks of a potential upcoming Ahri Arcana skin.

So, with that in mind, an event centered around this alternate universe would make total sense. The skins look great, and the theme is unlike anything Riot has put out in recent years.

Anima Squad Event

One event any anime fan will be excited about is the Anima Squad event, which could happen in 2022. This is the skin line Riot talked about the most during their Season 12 preview stream, so we think something big is coming with these skins.

It could also be one of the events after the Firecracker event ends. Why do we think that? As mentioned earlier, Riot showed off a lot of art from this skin line during their streams, so it looks like they've already got them ready to go.

So we think an Anima Squad event is possible. Think of it like the PROJECT event from 2021 — it could be a similar neo-future themed event style.

High Noon Event

High Noon is another skin line that became extremely popular after getting revamped. The skins are great, the story is crazy but fun, and an event with more High Noon skins is something nobody would complain about.
