LoL Season 12 Split 3: When Does It Start?

League of Legends ranked seasons are divided into three splits, each lasting roughly three months. Splits don't reset a player's rank, but they let players earn various rewards to show off their progress. As Split 2 comes to an end, League of Legends Season 12 Split 3 is about to start. So when will LoL Season 12 Ranked Split 3 begin?

When Will LoL Season 12 Split 3 Begin?

League of Legends Season 12 Split 3 will begin on July 30th. Since there's no gap between splits, this also lines up with the date Split 2 ends. So players need to claim all the rewards they want before the split ends.

Split points can be earned by winning games through the Ranked queue during a split. Players will earn different amounts of points depending on the role they play. Depending on the split, they'll also be able to bank Split points to earn Icons, Emotes, Champion Permanents, Eternals Capsules, and more rewards.

Splits don't reset players' rank or MMR, but Split points reset with every split, so players should claim all their rewards by July 30th.
