DPI Settings

• Dots per inch, or DPI, is the speed at which your mouse will move. The lower the DPI, the slower your mouse moves, because it travels across fewer dots. An average computer mouse can range from 400 to 3,200 DPI.
• Choosing a DPI around 800 is a good setting for a player who wants to make a mark on the esports side of the game. Since typical esports players tend to sit around 500-600 DPI, settling on 800 is a good option for players who are new to the game.

Sensitivity Settings

• Sensitivity depends on a player's playstyle and their preferred agent class.
• Players who play high-speed agents like Raze or Jett need higher sensitivity so they can react while moving fast.
• An agent with a rifle needs lower sensitivity, but you might also need higher sensitivity.

Crosshair Settings

The crosshair is specific to the player, and most professional players set it up according to their own playstyle. Sentinels' professional VALORANT player Tenz has shared his own crosshair settings with other players. He chooses cyan as his crosshair color because it's a rare color in the game. This means the color can't be confused with another agent or the map, and it makes it easier to see. As for the crosshair lines, they're set to a compact 1/6/2/3. The outlines and the crosshair's center dot are turned off. Having the dot turned off means agents can see more of the map during play. However, turning it on can be useful for long-range weapons.
