If you're experiencing a general freezing issue due to insufficient CPU power, there are a few things you can do about it. First, go into System Information and check your CPU usage. If your CPU usage swings between 50% and 2% while playing FIFA, that means there's a serious problem. You can try deleting files that are slowing your computer down and try logging back into FIFA. But if the problem continues, you can do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the game. Many users find it tedious, but a fresh reinstall has been observed to clear up this kind of disconnect issue.
